AdvertorialAfter years of trying just about everything, the last one gave me results I'd never seen before.

I almost didn't post that photo. It was taken right before I tried the last thing on this list.
Keto. WeightWatchers. Fasting. Noom.
I'd lose a bit, get excited… and a few months later end up right back where I started.
Then a woman from my Thursday night pickleball group told me what she'd been doing. So I tried it too.
Here are all 5 things I tried, ranked from worst to the one I wish I'd found first. At the end, I'll show you my 90-day photo.

I lasted 19 days.
It felt like EVERYONE knew someone who'd lost weight on keto. So I tried it.
The first week, the scale moved and I got excited. Then: no toast, no pasta, no mashed potatoes at Sunday dinner. I was standing in the aisle at Kroger reading carb counts on everything.
By day 19 all I could think was: Am I seriously supposed to eat like this forever? No chance.
MY RATING: 3/10

Better than keto. But I got so sick of counting points.
My mom swore by it: "At least you can still eat normal food." And compared with keto, it was MUCH easier. Nothing was banned.
But every food decision became a math problem. Check the points, check what's left, decide if it's "worth it." Food was on my mind even MORE than before.
Eventually I stopped tracking. You can guess what happened next.
MY RATING: 5/10

This sounded ridiculously easy. Until 11am.
Don't eat for 16 hours, eat in an 8-hour window. No counting, no special meals. I thought: "Is that it?"
Then I discovered I REALLY like breakfast. By 10:30am I was hungry. By 11:58am I was standing in the kitchen waiting for noon 😂
It wasn't useless. I just hated spending half my morning waiting to be "allowed" to eat. Breakfast won.
MY RATING: 6/10

This was the closest I'd come to finding something I could actually stick with.
I'd seen Noom advertised about 900 million times before I downloaded it. And it actually taught me a lot about why I eat: boredom, opening the fridge without thinking, wanting something sweet after dinner.
But there was one problem. Knowing why I wanted the chocolate… didn't make me stop wanting the chocolate.
Then, right around this time… something happened at my Thursday night pickleball group.

This is where things got interesting.
One week I looked at Rhonda from pickleball and thought: She looks different. The next Thursday, I noticed it again.
So I asked: "Rhonda… have you lost weight?" She laughed. "YES!" And when she told me how much, I thought she was exaggerating. She wasn't.
I went home and looked into it. There were women my age, women who'd tried keto, WeightWatchers and every app, all talking about this one completely different approach.
So I took a "before" photo and gave myself 90 days. No checking the mirror every morning. Just one photo at the end.
90 days later I put them side by side, and I actually called Rhonda. I couldn't believe how different I looked.
Early on, I noticed one change that made me think: "Ohhh… NOW I understand why women are talking about this."
I've put both photos, and exactly what I did, on the next page.
